— PUBLICATIONHiểu Rồi (Vietnamese for "I understand") is a publication that documents and visualizes the clash between Vietnamese refugees and their American-born children. The publication recognizes the complex inheritance of trauma, expectations, and survival. The core goal of this project is to validate the shared experiences of the diaspora while bridging the gap between the historical weight of the refugee experience and the modern reality of the American-born child. The title itself signifies the realization of this intergenerational tension and the acceptance of what it truly means to carry a Vietnamese-American identity.
